The Project Manager for Marketing Commercial Products is responsible for (1) the management of major product development projects especially related to product line platform changes and large or complex sustaining engineering efforts and (2) development, implementation and execution of various out bound marketing programs. Additionally this position requires the development and maintenance of the departmental product Channel and Pipeline Roadmaps in concert with relevant Marketing Managers.

Duties

·         Participate in detailed projects with department Marketing Managers to identify and justify major product development and or sustaining engineering projects.  Requires the delivery of extensive PACE documentation to obtain Senior Management approval and subsequent resource funding.

·         In conjunction with Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing, MarCom and Sales departments, become the lead Marketing Department person responsible for the development and maintenance of detailed Channel and Pipeline Roadmap documents for the CPD Commercial Products group.

·         Participate in the development, implementation and execution of various out bound                                      marketing programs in concert with relevant Marketing Managers and Product Managers.

·         Maintain a strong working relationship with counterparts in Manufacturing, Engineering and Engineering Project Management teams so as to show continual improvement in our Product Development capabilities.  Work to improve processes and inspire a strong sense of team.

·         Work with internal and external resources to execute any and all phases of major product development and or sustaining engineering projects.

·         Provide senior guidance and leadership to other departmental Associate Project Managers as required.

·         Other duties as required including travel.

Qualifications

·         Minimum of 7+ years of Project Management experience with an emphasis on managing platform level product development projects.

·         Minimum of 3+ years experience with developing and delivering successful Marketing programs.

·         Strong working knowledge of PC Boards, electrical motors, and or electro-mechanical design preferred.

·         Demonstrated work history with PACE or equivalent product development processes.

·         Requires strong problem-solving skills to address complex project issues between functional teams. 

·         Must demonstrate the skill to develop oral presentations and written plans.

·         Must possess the ability to work and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.

·         Must have prior management experience.

·         College degree required.  MBA, Electrical and or Mechanical Engineering degrees preferred.

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for selling and managing all Professional Lines products to installing dealers and distributors in the Alabama, Mississippi and Northern Florida Territory.

Duties & Responsibilities

ü    Sell Professional Line products to installing dealers in a prescribed territory.

ü    Maintain and increase the sales volume of assigned accounts or territories.

ü    Aggressively solicit orders from present and prospect customers for the products assigned.

ü    Carry out merchandising/advertising programs as directed.

ü    Authorize return goods in accordance with company policy.

ü    Adjust customer complaints in accordance with company policy and to advise management promptly of any situations beyond his scope of authority including invoicing errors, credit disputes, shipping problems and advertising claims.

ü     Assist in developing sales forecasts and territory potentials

ü     Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

ü    3 to 5 years of sales experience.

ü    Experience and comprehensive knowledge of the door operator marketplace a plus

Basic Function:

The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for working with Retail Sales Business Units, Technical Service Center Business Partners and Corporate personnel to prepare financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts around operating entities. This role will also be specifically assigned to analyzing working capital, customer/supplier viability, and cash flow. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

-          Provide detailed annual budgets, monthly forecasts and ongoing tracking & analysis of Gross Sales, Allowances, Discounts & Promotions and Gross Margins for Professional Products. Work closely with product managers to quantify Sales & Gross Margin trends, anomalies, risks and opportunities in the Professional Channel. Analyze volume/rate variances and spending variances. Forecast inventory and AR. 

-          Work closely with department managers, directors and VP’s to plan, analyze and forecast SG&A expenses. Ensure that allocation methodologies are appropriate and reasonable, and that differences between Plan, Forecast and Actual are justified and explained. 

-          Assist in preparation of the 5-year plan. Gather inputs, prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis, document and communicate assumptions. 

-          Monthly & ad-hoc analysis and reporting. Verify and maintain integrity of financial results submitted by operating units. Includes heavy interaction with accounting personnel and business units. Assist with Sr. Staff and Board deck preparation and provide quality checks for other finance team members such that all critical documents are thoroughly reviewed and double-checked. Prepare reports and analyses to support the annual audit. Work with Business Unit personnel to develop customer profitability model and analysis tool. Assist Finance and Operating personnel with the monthly/quarterly forecasts and the annual plan as directed.

-         Participate as directed and where necessary in the ERP implementation and training. Develop skills to become a power-user.

-      Market research and analysis of peers and competitors; market analysis of auto industry affecting IP revenue; monthly IP sales forecast and economic model.

Basic Qualifications:

-          4 Year Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting

-          MBA (or equivalent work experience) required; CPA a plus.

-          EXCELLENT PC skills especially in MS Excel; experience with BPCS, SAP, or OutlookSoft a plus

-          5+ years business experience; Experience working with sales & marketing and/or business unit leaders

-          Strong ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial professionals

-          Travel requirement 10%-15%

As our Open Source Manager, you would be responsible for the compliance of the Company’s open source and other software copyright requirements. This is an exciting, newly created position that will be accountable for ensuring compliance, and for keeping abreast of developments in the cutting edge field of open source and software copyright requirements. This position works closely with both legal and engineering personnel in order to coordinate corporate compliance.
The main duties include:
1. Prepare or coordinate the preparation of legal records concerning compliance and auditing activities.
2. Evaluate and recommend changes in methods and procedures in open source and software copyright compliance in accordance to Chamberlain's Open Source policy.
3. Act as a liaison with other departments, and organizations regarding our OS policy.
4. Estimate schedules and needs to coordinate work to meet completion dates according to the design groups project schedules.
5. Apply organizational policies and assure adherence to departmental procedures.
6. Interface with design groups on questions and concerns with regards to open source and software copyright compliance.

Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or an equivalent degree  and 10 years of Engineering or legal experience is required.
- An MS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent education (such as MBA or PhD) may substitute for some of the experience, depending on the type of experience associated with it.
- Knowledge of micro controllers, software compilers, and the C language is required.
- Knowledge of how to read licensing agreements and an understanding of copyright law is required

Our Sr. Radio Frequency Design Engineer is responsible for planning and conducting complete engineering projects from concept to manufacturing completion in support our strategic business initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
As Sr. Design Engineer in our Electrical Engineering department, you would be responsible the following:

-  Design, perform worst case analysis and debug analog, digital and RF sections of a product design. 
-  Debug analog, RF transmitter and receiver designs.
-  Use RF simulation tools and perform RF circuit analysis.
-  Layout printed circuit boards for production using CAD and custom design rules.
-  Support and guide engineers and technicians on lower levels with their day to day activities.

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this Sr. RF Design Engineer position, you must have:

-  A BSEE or MSEE (advance degree a plus) and at least 3 years of demonstrated Electrical Engineering experience.
-  RF design experience in the 300MHz to 1GHz range required.
-  Experience with various RF test equipment, including spectrum and network analyzers.
-  Prefer experience with a high volume manufacture of consumer products. 
-  Layout experience with printed circuit boards using CAD tools.  Altium a plus.
-  Excellent presentation and oral and written communications skills.

As our Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer, you will design and develop relatively complex electro-mechanical designs from concept to production. A significant amount of decision making is necessary in order to implement the designs into manufacturing while managing and executing schedules to meet time to market demands.  You will make presentations and recommendations to the upper level management, be involved in supporting and guiding engineers on lower levels with their day to day activities and implement corrective action steps when technical problems occur.

To be considered for this Mechanical Engineer position, you must have:

- A BSME or MSME (advance degree from a top engineering school desirable) and 8+ years of demonstrated Mechanical Engineering experience.
- 2D and 3D modeling with Pro-E.
- High volume experience with a manufacturer of motorized products. Consumer appliance, electronic or automotive product experience a plus.
- Solid analytical skills (FEA, statistical analysis, DOE, DFMEA, DFM, failure analysis, troubleshooting, etc.)
- Motor and gear design along with sheet metal and plastics experience.
- A thorough understanding of design and manufacturing cost factors. 
- Experience preparing comprehensive design documentation packages for complete mechanical assemblies. Managing contract or offshore manufacturers a plus.
- Excellent skills in oral and written communications and team management.
- Flexibility for travel to Chamberlain businesses, as needed, based on project schedule requirements (approximately 5% travel). May include international travel.

As Electrical Design Engineer in our International Products Group, you will be responsible for software design and development projects that have significant impact on larger defined projects.  The ability to apply your knowledge of engineering principles and practices in electrical design and development is required.

The main duties include:
-  Write and debug microcontroller code used in the product design.  Includes test code needed to confirm the correct operation of the product.
-  Design, perform worst case analysis, ad debug digital and some analog sections of a product design.   

Basic Qualifications:
- A BSEE required.
- A minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience.
- Experience must reflect a core framework established in areas of firmware design
- C experience required.  Assembly a plus.
- Exposure to digital circuit design experience  a plus.
- Exposure to schematic and layout of printed circuit boards using CAD tools  a plus.

As Senior Electrical Design Engineer in our International Products Group, you will be responsible for design and development of relatively complex designs.  Decision making skills are necessary in order to investigate and implement designs and concepts. The ability to give and support presentations and recommendations to the upper level management is necessary along with the ability to resolve and implement corrective action steps when technical problems occur. 

The main duties include:
-  Design, perform worst case analysis, and debug digital and analog sections of a product design.   
-   Design Gate Array/Custom IC including schematic capture, simulation and synthesis.
-  Oversee the layout of printed circuit for production using CAD and custom design rules.
-  Write and debug microcontroller code used in the product design.  Includes test code needed to confirm the correct operation of the product.
- Support and guide engineers and technicians on lower levels with their day to day activities.

Basic Qualifications:
-  A BSEE required; MSEE or advanced degree a plus.
-  A minimum of 8 years of electrical engineering experience.
-  Experience must reflect a core framework established in areas of hardware design , firmware design and project development.
-   Strong digital circuit design experience required, analog design a plus.
-   Schematic and layout of printed circuit boards using CAD tools is needed.  Altium a plus.
-   C experience required, Assembly preferred.
-   Must have experience design products through production and exposure to domestic and international regulations (UL, IEC, TUV, etc.).
-  Prefer exposure to working with a company with manufacturing in Mexico. 
-  Need excellent presentation and oral and written communication skills along with creativity and a drive to solve problems.

As Senior Electrical Design Engineer in our Advanced Development Group, you will be responsible for design and development of relatively complex designs.  Decision making skills are necessary in order to investigate and implement designs and concepts. The ability to give and support presentations and recommendations to the upper level management is necessary along with the ability to resolve and implement corrective action steps when technical problems occur. 
 
The main duties include:
- Design, perform worst case analysis, and debug analog and digital sections of a product design.

- Generate circuit schematics and perform circuit simulation.
- Layout printed circuit boards for production using CAD and custom design rules.
- Debug radio frequency transmitter and receiver sections of a system.
